Kind of worrying really, is social media really such a good thing when it gives people with this much hate a place to air their campaigns. The belieber issue is a concerning one... this obsession with a person is surely not healthy, if it is causing 14yr old girls to send other celebrities pictures of knives (Yes really! Check out @DrakeBell's tweets) then it isn't a good thing for children to be exposed to. More to the point, where are the parents of these children! Do they not know what their 'little angels' are spending their evenings doing! That is some seriously bad parenting there. When do parents have to take responsibility? Surely based on the precedent set by the Liam Stacey case involving comments poster on Twitter, then sending violent threats should fall under the same bracket? I think this is a real issue that needs to be addressed. The online world is not the best place for children to grow up. Too much time spent interacting with virtual friends clearly causes a lot of hate when these friends decide to unite against a 'common enemy', is it because there is little fear of repercussions? "Fighting through the keyboard" is relatively risk free. - This is what I feel needs to be reconsidered and accountability for your actions needs to extend online before we breed new generations of angry hate filled people. To quote the Black Eyed Peas "Where is the love?"
